Gentle chiropractic adjustments that last...
Chiropractic Care with Dr. Liz Giles, DC
Patients choose me for gentle chiropractic adjustments that last.
It’s not that I can’t give you a good crack. More, it’s that the soft tissue therapy I do before adjustments makes brute force unnecessary. Soft tissue therapy relaxes tight muscles that pull your bones out of alignment. This approach prevents your body from snapping right back out of whack.
I work in a partnership with every patient to develop the most appropriate treatment plan. At the beginning of each appointment, I’ll ask how you’ve been doing since your last visit and answer any questions you have about your symptoms or condition. Knowing the whole you informs and improves the treatment plan.
Beyond chiropractic adjustment, appointments can include any of a range of soft tissue therapies, rehabilitation exercises, and nutritional and lifestyle counseling.
Because I believe so strongly in supporting your both before and after adjustments, I continually learn new therapies for freeing up soft tissue. I’m currently certified in a number of the top soft tissue therapies:
- Graston Technique®
- The Activator Method
- K-taping® (Kinesio Taping)
- SOT® (Sacro Occipital Technique)
- ART® (Active Release Techniques)
To enjoy even greater benefits, try combining chiropractic care with Rehabilitative Pilates. A chiropractic adjustment moves a joint that’s stuck and identifies the restrictive muscle pattern; whereas Pilates reinforces healthier movement patterns. Taken together, adjustments will last longer and you’ll enjoy the benefits of retraining your posture and patterns of movement.
Is it all you can do just to get through your daily commitments? Does adding in Rehabilitative Pilates sound like that task too many. That’s okay. Chiropractic care puts you ahead of the game with or without Pilates.

New to Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic physicians are holistic health care providers who examine and treat the whole patient. Their techniques are non-invasive and non-pharmaceutical.
Chiropractors are regarded as musculoskeletal experts who facilitate the proper mobility of your joints and soft tissues. Proper joint motion improves your quality of movement to relieve pain while also relieving stress on all of the other systems in your body, including your nervous system, circulatory system, and immune system. In this way chiropractic care can be preventative as well as restorative.
Chiropractic care is a safe, gentle and comprehensive way to improve your whole health. It may free you from acute or chronic pain, prevent future injury and illness, and improve your athletic performance.
Chiropractors treat more than back pain. Although they are regarded as musculoskeletal experts who treat the muscles and joints of the body, they are also successful at treating a myriad of other conditions from headaches to digestive disorders. Chiropractors are knowledgeable about all of the body’s systems and will refer you to the appropriate physician if your condition requires.
